Dubai Expo unveils Torino 2025 brand new logo on Thursday January 27

The world discovers Torino 2025. Next Thursday, at the Italian Pavilion of Dubai Expo 2020, there will be the presentation of the XXXII World University Games Winter and the launch of the official logo, winner of the competition announcement launched by Organizing Committee of Torino 2025 and approved by the FISU in recent days. The event will start at 12.30 local time (9.30 CET) and will be also live streamed.

In May 2021, FISU assigned the organization of the World University Games Winter to CUSI (Italian University Sports Center). From January 13 to 23 in 2025, Piedmont and Torino will be the scene of the event that was created in 1959 by the visionary Turin executive Primo Nebiolo with the name of Universiade. This is the seventh time (record) that Italy will host the ice snow event after the Games of Sestriere (1966), Livigno (1975), Belluno (1985), Tarvisio (2003), Turin (2007) and Trentino (2013). Piedmont, therefore, will return to embrace the best university athletes in winter sports 18 years after the glorious event that was held in January 2007.

The new official logo will also be presented at the Dubai Expo and will represent the XXXII World University Winter Games from now on. Many candidates have participated in the competition launched with a public call and closed in recent days. The Governing Council of the Organizing Committee of Torino 2025 expressed its choice on January 13th and, after the approval of the FISU, is ready to reveal it, but it will do so only during the Ceremony of January 27th, in which the person who conceived and created it will tell the world how he made it.

During the presentation, moderated by Silvia Carrera, there will be speeches by Leonz Eder (Acting President FISU), Fabrizio Ricca (Honorary President of the Organizing Committee of WUGTorino 2025 and Councilor for Sport of the Piedmont Region), Alessandro Ciro Sciretti (President of the Organizing Committee of WUGTorino 2025 and President of EDISU Piedmont) and Riccardo D’Elicio (Vice President of WUGTorino2025 and President of CUS Turin).

The event will also be broadcast in live streaming at the following links
