If there was already enthusiasm and adhesions to become active players and protagonists of the next World University Games scheduled to take place in Torino in January, now the volunteer recruitment campaign is further enriched by a big name from the world of world sport.
Giorgio Chiellini, former captain of the Italian national football team and Juventus, entrepreneur and manager of the Juventus club, now officially becomes the face of the Torino 2025 volunteer campaign, embracing its values of inclusion, unity and sharing, once again demonstrating his love for sport and for our region. In fact, the former footballer will lend his face and image to involve and invite the citizens of Turin and the entire territory to become active protagonists of this great sporting event, offering their skills, their time. Each with their own enthusiasm and desire to be there and fully experience all the emotions that these FISU Games will bring.
Moreover, with his bachelor’s degree in Economics and his master’s degree in Business Administration, both obtained at the School of Management and Economics of the University of Torino during his time as a competitive athlete, Giorgio has embodied the figure of the student-athlete in an emblematic and concrete manner, and has always been a spokesperson for the promotion of sport and the importance of his own training and education.
A great novelty and a further incentive to embark on this adventure together with the Committee, thus becoming the heart and soul of the Torino 2025 FISU Games.
