The Torino 2025 FISU World University Games are, by definition, a celebration of the passion for sports intertwined with the love for Knowledge and Culture.
The symbolic image of this program is the poster created by visual artist Silvio Giordano, who produced a trilogy of digital works titled Crystal City, serving as the artistic and conceptual manifesto of the Culture program for the FISU World University Games Winter.
To bring this concept to life, the Organizing Committee has developed an extensive program of activities, events, and partnerships with the territory where the Games will take place, organized under five overarching conceptual themes: youth, intellect, wisdom, future, and hope.
Youth are the true protagonists of the FISU Games: carriers of energy, creativity, and new ideas, they represent the seed of every change. Intellect, understood as the ability to comprehend and interpret the world, is the essential tool for building a better future. Wisdom is the fruit of experience and reflection, an indispensable guide to avoid repeating the mistakes of the past. The Future represents an unexplored space where dreams, possibilities, and commitment converge. Finally, Hope, the force that drives us to believe and work toward a fairer and brighter tomorrow.

Turin is globally renowned for reasons that go far beyond its historic role as Italy’s first capital and the industrial heart of the country. This city has stood out thanks to the ingenuity, creativity, and organizational skills of its people—qualities that have made it an international point of reference. On the national stage, Turin has been a birthplace of innovation in sports, cinema, fashion, the automobile industry, and television.
A narrative journey through unique objects that recount the origins and evolution of the event. Starting with the original cauldron, a symbol of the early editions of the Universiade, the exhibition explores historical memorabilia and medals that bear witness to the event’s illustrious past. The journey concludes with the evolution of the design of the Torch, the medals, and the logo for Torino 2025, offering a fascinating glimpse into innovation and tradition.
The upcoming open-air exhibition "Passion and Sport Through Time" celebrates the evolution of winter sports, focusing on their impact on global culture and the history of the Universiade. This unique showcase traces the journey of winter sports from their early roots to the high-tech competitions of today, exploring how passion for these activities has shaped communities, inspired athletes, and brought nations together.
INTERNATIONAL ROUTES: ARTS CREATING FUTURE is a project of the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory of Turin funded by the Ministry of University and Research with PNRR funds, created in collaboration with the Accademia Albertina and the IAAD Istituto d’Arte Applicata e Design, the “G. F. Ghedini” Conservatory of Cuneo and the “G. Cantelli” Conservatory of Novara, the University and the Polytechnic of Turin.
Arts creating future was created to build international itineraries that connect young artists, students and researchers of partner institutions with academic and professional realities of European and overseas countries, facilitating the circulation of ideas and creativity, enhancing Made in Italy and our material and immaterial heritage. The starting point of this journey that crosses Europe and reaches as far as Japan and Korea, as far as Canada and the United States, is the Universiade of Turin 2025

A giant made of light has landed in Turin. A stylized human silhouette, on whose head an Ionic capital seems to be superimposed (perhaps a modern caryatid? a minotaur?), stands out vigorously, alluding to the iconography of classical, Greek and Roman statuary. The light created by the artist Andreas Angelidakis recalls the image of an athlete and was created for the occasion of the FISU World University Games Winter scheduled for January 2025 in Turin and Piedmont.

Past generations used a particular means of transportation to move hay and firewood from the mountains to the valleys and vice versa: "La Lesa." It's a contraption that vaguely resembles a sled, with long wooden runners and crosspieces on which bundles of hay were tied.
Since 2016, the meaning of this word has changed. A mix of tradition, extravagance, and fantasy has created the most fun self-made sled race ever: BardoLesa.
The successful collaboration between the Proloco (local Turistical Association), the Municipality, and the Ski Lift Company has resulted in a unique event, with an exponentially increasing audience participation year after year. Everyone can participate in BardoLesa. The ultimate goal is just one: TO HAVE FUN!
Music has always been part of the event, the 2025 news is that after BardoLesa the party will continue with a great exhibition, always in Campo Smith. Host of the event: Claudio Lauretta, special guest with his humor and his imitations.
