COMING UP: the second TEST EVENT of Torino 2025 FISU World University Games is Ice Hockey at Palaghiaccio Tazzoli

HITTING THE ICE: THE REAL TORINO GIRLS VS GIRL PROJECT MASTINI DEVILS  

The second TEST EVENT of the Torino 2025 FISU World University Games is scheduled for Saturday 23 November at the Palaghiaccio Tazzoli, the venue that will host the women’s ice hockey competitions as well as the men’s semi-finals and finals.

The test on Saturday 23 November will feature a women’s tournament where Real Torino and the Girl Project Mastini Devils will compete.

#ABOUT ICE HOCKEY

One thing is certain: ice hockey at the FISU Games will captivate the entire audience! The fastest team sport in the world has been part of the programme since the second edition of the Universiade in Villars, Switzerland, in 1962, and since 2009 (in Harbin, China) it has also included women’s competition. 

Ten men’s and eight women’s teams will compete in the FISU World University Games Winter Torino 2025: Canada, the Czech Republic, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, Ukraine and the United States will take part in the men’s competition, while Canada, the Czech Republic, Great Britain, Japan, Kazakhstan, Slovakia, Chinese Taipei and the United States have registered for the women’s tournament.

The matches will take place in Torre Pellice, Pinerolo and at Torino’s PalaTazzoli, where the semifinals and matches for first and third place will also be held.
