CLOSING CEREMONY

The closing ceremony of Torino 2025 FISU World University Games will be held on January 23rd 2025, from 8 pm to 11:20 pm, in the suggestive Piazzetta Reale, where Walter Rolfo will lead a huge event with the most famous artists and magic world champions, to celebrate the conclusion of this extraordinary international event.
WELCOME – Opening and Welcome
The ceremony will begin with the greeting of the Master of Ceremonies, who will take the stage to welcome the audience and officially declare the beginning of the closing ceremony, a moment of great emotion and celebration.
FLAGS AND ATHLETES PARADE
Next, the flags and athletes’ parade will take place, with the entrance of participants, athletes and technicians, who will walk across the stage in a symbolic way, representing unity and collaboration between nations.
ITALIAN NATIONAL ANTHEM
To honour Italy, three opera singers Davide Capitanio, Omar Mancini and Leonardo Cremona will perform live the Italian National Anthem, a tribute to our Nation and its musical tradition.
OFFICIAL SPEECHES
Official speeches with the President of the Organising Committee (OC) and the President of FISU will alternate, offering their reflections on the success of the games and on the value of university sports at a global level.
FISU’S HYMN AND LOWERING OF THE FLAG
Real Tune vocal quintet will perform live FISU’s hymn, followed by the solemn lowering of FISU’s flag, which symbolizes the passage of the event to the next host country.
CULTURAL PROGRAM – Artistic Performances
The cultural programme will come to life with a performance of illusionism by Matteo Fraziano, who, through fascinating Chinese shadow plays, will pay tribute to all the disciplines and athletes who participated in the games. To follow, the incredible show by famous German illusionist and manipulation champion Topas. As well as, the moving performance of the soprano Lucia Rubedo, and the performance of La Vision Acrobatics by Cirque du Soleil.
EXTINGUISHING OF THE WUG FISU CAULDRON
With the extinguishing of the wug FISU cauldron, the closing of the event will be officially announced. This symbolic gesture will mark the end of the games and the beginning of the party.
CULTURAL PROGRAM 02 – CLOSING PARTY
The ceremony will end with the DJ SET by Maria Fargetta and Fabio Baresi, who will liven up the square with an explosion of energy, accompanied by a light show and a majestic LED wall.
Music and dance will transform the square into a large celebration space, thus concluding in style the closing ceremony of Torino 2025 FISU World University Games.
The artistic direction of the Ceremonies is by Walter Rolfo, who in addition to being Artistic Director, will also be the Master of Ceremonies of the event. Alessandro Marrazzo will take care of the direction and show design. Luciano Cannito will be Artistic Consultant and Choreography Supervisor.
Masters of Magic, a point of reference for live and television events related to illusionism, is a reality that has revolutionised the art of magic with an innovative show philosophy. Founded by Walter Rolfo in 2008, the organization has produced over 1,800 shows and boasts more than 1,350 artists in its international network. Over the years, Masters of Magic has organised successful events such as the 26th World Magic Championship in 2015, the most important magic event in the world, which for the first time in history took place in Italy, and the European Championship of Magic in 2024 in Saint Vincent. The next big event will be the 29th World Magic Championship, which will be held in Torino from 14 to 19 July 2025.
